Terms of Service

By using FinPal, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the service.
1. Service Overview
FinPal provides: AI receipt scanning and analysis, expense tracking (auto-extracted or manual), subscription management with renewal alerts, budget management (monthly, per-category, multi-currency), spending analysis and visualization, AI monthly reports, NFC transit card reading, and CSV/PDF data export.
2. Eligibility
The service is intended for individual users aged 13 and above. A social login account is required. You must agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy to use the service.
3. User Obligations
You must: provide accurate information and not enter false data; not upload others' receipts, personal or financial information without authorization; not use the service for illegal purposes; not make unauthorized API calls or attempt to bypass security measures; not use automation tools (bots, scrapers); not interfere with normal service operation. Violations may result in account suspension or deletion without prior notice.
4. AI-Based Services
Receipt Analysis: AI accuracy is not guaranteed. Users must verify and correct AI-extracted data. Use of AI data for tax filing, legal evidence, or other official purposes is the user's responsibility. AI Reports: Monthly/weekly reports are for reference only and do not constitute financial advice. Financial decisions based on reports are the user's responsibility. Service Limitations: AI analysis may be temporarily limited due to server conditions or network environment. Abnormal usage patterns may trigger AI service restrictions.
5. FinPal Premium
Free ($0): 3 free scans + ad-supported scans (up to 6/day), 6-month history, single currency, ad-supported. Pro ($4.99/mo or $39.99/yr): 30 regular scans/day, 10 precision scans/day, document scan camera, advanced insights & export, full history, multi-currency & category budgets, ad-free, multi-scan up to 5. Payments are processed through Apple App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled 24 hours before trial ends.
6. Advertising
Free plan users see ads (banner, native, rewarded video). Watching rewarded video ads grants bonus scan credits. Ad personalization depends on ATT (App Tracking Transparency) consent. Pro subscription removes all ads.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the software, design, content, logos, and trademarks belong to FinPal. Ownership of user-uploaded data (receipt images, expense records) belongs to the user. Users receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. Reproduction, modification, distribution, or reverse-engineering of the service is prohibited.
8. Disclaimer
The service is provided 'AS-IS' without fitness-for-purpose warranty. Accuracy and completeness of AI receipt analysis results are not guaranteed. Users are responsible for their own financial decisions. Liability for service interruptions, data loss, or third-party service failures is limited to the extent permitted by law. Force majeure events exempt FinPal from service disruption liability.
9. Service Changes & Termination
FinPal may add, modify, or remove service features. Significant feature changes will be announced via in-app notice. In case of service termination, at least 30 days' notice will be given with a data export period provided.
10. Changes to Terms
Terms may be modified for service improvements or legal changes. Changes will be announced via in-app notice at least 7 days before the effective date. Significant changes require 30 days' notice and may require re-consent. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Users may stop using the service and delete their account if they disagree.
11. Contact
